    The Stony Brook University School of Nursing research and scholarship activity focuses on educational, clinical and investigator initiated programs of research. The Office of Nursing Research was established in July 2010 to support all facets of faculty, student and clinician scholarly activity. The Nursing Center for Quality, Safety and Team Science is housed within the Office of Nursing Research and faculty conducts several innovative partnerships directed at improving healthcare. Faculty areas of research traverse the lifespan including studies in prevention, acute and chronic illness, and educational research. Faculty research interests are diverse and listed below.
