Description: Overview of how to find joy in what you do even though it might be difficult, to prevent burnout, incorporate practices into your daily life to promote emotional wellbeing. 

Objectives:

  1. By the end of the session, nursing staff will be able to identify the warning signs of nurse burnout.
  2.  By the end of the session, nursing staff will be able to define one wellness practice to incorporate into their daily lives.
  3. By the end of the session, nursing staff will be able to identify one characteristic that brings joy to the workplace.

3. Discuss the etiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, patient needs, and principles of 

                    management of patients in shock, heart failure, and hypertensive crisis.
